2 euros per person
Olive tree is beautiful, it's a shame that when you arrive in front of the gate there is a sign where you have to call a telephone number and wait for a person to arrive, pay two euros and then you can see the olive tree
Enchanting olive tree that truly leaves you speechless with its grandeur!
The only flaw is that being on private property, there is considerable mess. Not the best for visitors who, among other things, also pay a symbolic entrance fee of 2 euros.
Wonderful olive tree visited several years ago now, when entry was free and everything was more spontaneous. It is sad to read many reviews complaining about neglect and unsightliness in the garden of private property. However, I read that there is work in progress and therefore the situation should be temporary. Certainly if you ask for 2 Euros (even in the rest of Italy you can find gigantic and very ancient olive trees, especially in Puglia, but they are free) and the waiting time, you have to provide services, at least the care of the rooms. I hope to return soon to admire this wonder of nature, while finding a well-kept garden suited to the importance of the site. For now I give 3 stars, hoping to be able to give 5.
We were going about our business when we were struck by the tourist road sign indicating the largest olive tree in Italy. Following the signs we ended up on a private property, calling the number indicated on a sign, the owner told us to put the money in the mailbox and enter the garden where the tree is located. The price is €2.00 per person. The tree is really beautiful and very large. My springer spaniel has found a friend to make friends with. After taking some photos, we continued on our way. A pleasant stop.
Ultra thousand-year-old olive tree with a huge and twisted trunk due to the Coriolis acceleration, with an anti-clockwise direction for the places between the equator and the North Pole and anti-clockwise between the base of the tree and the crown.
I give five stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ very kind owner, the tree is fantastic!! immense😳a place with a lot of peace, fun to take lots of photos!! There is a sign outside before entering, call the owner's number, on the sign, entry only 2 euros per person I recommend it!!👋🏽👋🏽👋🏽🙋🏻♂️ …
I couldn't wait to go and see it live....and finally on Easter day I managed to go...to an olive tree enthusiast like me who has toured a large part of Salento to photograph these fantastic trees, it was truly a surprise.. the tree is truly impressive in its majesty. it is a giant in the true sense of the word. you feel small in its presence.. as indicated on the property sign, I called and the very kind owner let us in without any problems and thank you very much..
If you copy go and see it because the photos don't do it justice...
